AFT Scoring Changes & Breakdown

If you read one of our previous articles, or saw it posted elsewhere, the Army is changing its fitness test from the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) to the Army Fitness Test (AFT). The changes are minor as far as the events, and now the scoring charts have come out and there are some minor changes there as well. Let's look at the AFT scoring changes & breakdown. Below are the new standards.
Never fail an AFT. Never fall out of a Run or Ruck March. Never fail a Selection.
Not many changes all together. Obviously they've removed the Standing Power Throw. However, you should also notice that the max weight on the Deadlift is now 350lbs. Previously, it was 340lbs. Now, that's not for all age groups, but that is the highest max weight now on the Deadlift.

Nothing else has really changed. I will say, and I said it in a previous article, the removal of the Standing Power Throw was a good choice. Now, if you are training to get the max score on the AFT so that you have more opportunities for schools and are fit and carry yourself well amongst your peers, your training just narrowed down a bit with the removal of a power test.

keonhacai mình cũng kiểu nghe bạn bè nhắc hoài nên ghé thử xem sao. Vào trang cái là thấy họ ưu tiên bảng tỷ lệ kèo ngay trước mắt, không phải bấm qua lại nhiều mới ra thông tin. Mình không phải dân soi kèo chuyên, nhưng thích kiểu trình bày rõ ràng: số liệu chia cột gọn, nhìn lướt một phát là nắm được kèo chính đang chạy. Có điểm mình để ý là phần cập nhật biến động kèo hiển thị khá dễ nhận ra, nên dù chỉ xem cho biết cũng không bị lạc trong menu hay mấy mục rối rắm. Nói chung cảm giác trang làm cho người xem nhanh, ít màu mè, đọc đỡ mỏi…
