Raleigh Rush - A Competition for OCR & Hybrid Athletes

Looking for an awesome challenge on the East Coast? One that's different from most other competitions, requires a wide base of fitness, and some strategy? HERE. IT. IS. We here at Trio Fitness Training have partnered with Z-FIT in Raleigh, NC to put on this awesome event!

What? RALEIGH RUSH

When? October 2, 2022 from 8:00am - 12:00pm

Why? We've created an event that will challenge your fitness in multiple aspects while allowing you to have fun and potentially win $250.00; also BECAUSE IT'S GOING TO BE AWESOME!!!

What do I get? Besides an awesome time, every competitor will receive a sweet T-shirt and a loaded Goodie Bag. Special prizes will be awarded to the 2nd & 3rd place Male and Female finishers, while 1st place Male and Female athletes will each take home $250.00.

FORMAT: Athletes will be given a 45 minute time window in which to complete all 6 challenges. Athletes may complete the challenges in any order they choose within that 45 minute window. They will have to navigate several other athletes working in that same window of time, so strategy WILL come into play. Points from each event will be tallied up, and the Top 3 Male and Female athletes with the best cumulative score at the end of the day will be our winners.


Challenges: (In no specific order)

  • 1,000 Meter Skierg Sprint (Goal is to get the fastest possible time)

  • BOB - Ball Over Bar (Goal is to complete the most reps possible in 1 minute. Men's Weight: 25lbs. Women's Weight: 20lbs)

  • Cliffhanger (Goal is to hang onto the bar for the longest possible time)

  • Tire Flips (Goal is to complete the most reps possible in 1 minute. Men's Weight: 450lbs. Women's Weight: 250lbs)

  • Carry-go-round (Goal is to carry 4 undisclosed objects an undisclosed distance in the fastest possible time)

  • Hand Release Deadlift (Goal is to complete as many reps as possible in 1 minute. Men's Weight: 185lbs. Women's Weight: 135lbs)
