Free Race Entry Giveaway - Myrtle Beast Terrain Race

You can enter your email at the bottom of this page for a chance to win the free race entry for the Myrtle Beast Terrain Race on Saturday, March 11, 2023.

*DISCLOSURE* We are not paid by, nor do we work for, Myrtle Beast Terrain Race. The only money we've received was Coach Joel's prize money for taking 1st place at both events that Myrtle Beast held in 2022.

We try to promote and participate in local/small OCRs. There are tons of them happening across the US every year, and many of them put on fantastic, well-run events. They are the life-blood of OCR, and there is a lot of creativity and community that comes from them. Myrtle Beast Terrain Race is one of these, and it is an absolute must-try for 4 reasons.

1: They put in a ton of effort to make the event fun and run smoothly and it shows.

2: There is a LARGE variety of obstacles. If you've run a Spartan Race, Savage Race, Terrain Race, and maybe one or two others, then you MIGHT have seen all of the obstacles they have at this event. The variety is exceptional for a single event.

3: It is very beginner/recreational OCR athlete friendly. If you've never run an OCR before, or if you just like doing it for fun, the distance is short enough (5K) for everyone, including kids, to complete it and have fun. The weights on the carries are enough to be tiring, but they are very manageable for any fitness level.

4: While the event is racer-friendly, speaking as a competitive athlete, it is still a ton of fun, and is challenging at full speed! The obstacles are hard enough, and many of them require skill to complete quickly. Also, there is prize money. That's a rare thing at many OCRs, much less smaller events.

A quick video that Myrtle Beast Terrain Race posted for their event in May 2022.

Here are some photos from their event in October, 2022.

If you aren't the fortunate winner of the free entry to this race, you can still get tickets for this event far cheaper than many events.

To sign up for the Myrtle Beast Terrain Race, or for videos, photos, information, etc. about their upcoming events:

*The email you enter will be the one that the free race entry is sent to if you are the winner. The winner will be chosen and notified via the email they provide below on December 12th.
